This is a fabulous service you offer, we were so happy to know that our dog was going to be cared for in a home environment and not be locked up in a kennel. Anne was great, I would recommend Anne to anyone as she knew how uneasy I was with leaving Tiny and she made me comfortable in knowing I could call whenever I wanted to check up on Tiny and Anne let Tiny sleep on the bed if she wanted to which was good as it wouldnt have been that big a transition for Tiny from what she was used to at home. She slept the whole day after we had brought her home which told me she was exhausted - in a good way. Bellamy |

What a marvellous and and satifying experience it was to deal with Top Dog Minders. The health, safety, and happiness of our dogs, Gaston and Isis was our paramount concern and we arrived back to find them both well and happy. Your carer Julie at Gymea had obviously given them the love and attention they needed. I believe she genuinely enjoyed their company and it was not difficult to tell they had enjoyed their stay with her, many thanks. This was the first time they had been left with a complete stranger, family members had looked after them before, and we are totally satisfied with the service.

Our experience with TopDog Minders is extremely satisfying, knowing our blue cattle dog pup (6 months) Ruby is in good hands and well looked after. We are very happy with the professional approach of TopDog Minders and with the good quality minder they provided us with. Minder Charlie was extremely thoughtful and I left her with him with the feeling of leaving her in the hands of a friend and real doglover. They got along very well and he took the best care of her. He even bathed her when I picked her up and she got a big bone from him. He even sms-ed me during my holiday to let me know how she was going. Zoe was very organised and attended to all our questions promptly and efficiently. When the proposed minder turned out to not be available, Zoe stepped in and took our dog on. We were most appreciative. Eco (our dog) came back happy. When, on other occasions he has gone to a kennel, he's usually stressed for a week afterwards. Happy dog.

All the staff from Topdog Minder, especially Zoe Gailer, were so helpful and friendly when I had a trouble with finding a dog minder. All my queries were promptly responded.
Jan, my dog minder and her kids were so lovely and caring. When I went to pick up my dogs (Apple & Rena) after coming back from my trip, they didn't seem very excited to see me!!!! I was very sad but happy cause that meant my dogs were well taken care of and had a wonderful time with Jan and her kids.

It was all very easy, and a minder was found with very little notice! Rachel had my dogs under better control than I achieve, and I was comforted immediately by seeing the warmth and care that she and her daughter showed towards my dogs. I have never had a holiday without the dogs, and found that I enjoyed my time without worrying - safe in the knowledge that they were being looked after in a loving home.

A.Excellent! I only had a short time to find a dog minder for my dog Axle, but I wanted a loving home, close by and a place where my dog could be in similar conditions to home. The girls were able to find just that for me in as little as two days. I picked Axle up last night and he was very happy. He had been allowed to sleep on the bed and was given lots of love.

We did, (have a relaxing time away) thank you! I also just wanted to say that Katie was fantastic. Just like Lucy last time, she was really great with Millie and made me feel so comfortable to leave her with her. Both of them allowed Millie to sleep in their beds which I find hilarious as it shows they really took to her. The funny thing is that we don't let Millie sleep with us (it's not a trend we ever started) but I have no problem at all that they do, in fact I think it's really sweet. Hi Gina, I want to give you my feedback after Ella's 18 day stay with Dolly & J.D. The only complaint I have is that Ella seems to be a bit sad to not have her little playmate around now she is home! I think for her the ideal scenario would have been to come home and bring the little 4 year old poodle with us. I'm not saying she didn't get attached to Dolly too. We collected Mulder and Scully from Dolly’s place yesterday afternoon – about 5pm – and I wanted to let you know how happy we are.
Mulder and Scully had clearly been well looked after, they were exhausted from having played so much with little John David (JD) and they were happy to see us on our return.
Not only did Dolly take care of the dogs beautifully, she also put us both at ease and a great deal of comfort – we just knew everything would be ok. It is hard to leave family members of the four-legged kind with new people, but Dolly was like an instant friend – especially to Mulder and Scully.
Your service is exceptional and the fact that Top Dog has attracted people like Dolly to it’s agency is a huge credit.

What was your main concern or requirements when selecting a Dog Minding service? The first time we were concerned about our elderly dog who had just lost her companion of 10 years [a blue heeler] and she was fretting. I found everyone I dealt with at Top Dog to be very accommodating and caring. The minders we have used have been great. In light of your experience, would you use us again or recommend us to others? We have used Top dog again recently [as we went away to a non doggie friendly place]. We were concerned about our new dog as she had not been minded before but the minder was very caring and we knew they would be ok. We were very happy with her. That we found someone who could give him as similar an environment as he’s used to as possible. For us, that meant someone who he could be with most of the time, took him for lots of walks, wouldn’t leave him at home during the day – in other words, could be a companion to him. ALL THE KENNELS THAT WE LOOKED AT ONLY EXERCISED FOR 20 MINS PER DAY, THE REST OF THE TIME THE DOGS WERE LOCKED UP IN THEIR CAGES. SOME DIDN’T EVEN HAVE 24/7 ACCESS TO A RUN AND THEREFORE FORCED INTO DOING THEIR BUSINESS ON THE CAGE FLOOR. NOT THE SORT OF ENVIRONMENT THAT WE WANTED TO PLACE OUR DOG IN.

Just wanted to let you know that our entire family had a wonderful holiday and we feel Minko had the BEST TIME. We think she is suffering withdrawal, all joking aside we could not be happier with the service and attention that was bestowed upon Minko by Heather. She really knows how to look after dogs and gets to know them very well. Minko was trim taught and terrific. We are not so sure about how happy she is to be one of the big pack at present as she is not getting enough attention but she did LOVE staying at Heather's. My dog’s welfare. She is a laid-back dog, but I needed to know she’d be in a safe environment and happy while I was away, otherwise I would’ve been fretting about her.
Q. In light of your experience, would you use us again and would you recommend us to others ?
Yes, I would use this service again. It’s a lot better than placing your dog into the kennels. Just the fact that Brie was around people and other pets, she would’ve been right in her element!
Q. Do you have any other suggestions you would like to add ?
Heather was really good and I felt comfortable leaving Brie with her. Heather gave Brie a bath before she came home and when my husband went to pick her up, she was racing around quite happily which is the best sign ever. Could you please pass on my thanks |

Not to be couped up in a small kennel for the whole period. To be well looked after and cared for. To treated with kindness and respect.

What we were looking for, was, that Toby could be part of the family and that his strict diet be maintained due to skin allergies.
Lynne treated Toby like a Prince and took lots of videos and photos for us, even letting him sleep on her bed. It was also great for him socially to mix with other dogs on neutral territory. She is also only a 10 minute drive away which was very handy when trying to juggle flight times. |

Hi. Just a note to say how pleased we are with the care Gill gave to Jacko on both times she has cared for him. He certainly must have liked having the company of the other dogs for the duration of his stay - he has a bit of a 'lonely' look on his face now!! I went away at the last minute and all of the kennels were booked out – so I tried Top Dog and was lucky enough to get something. Now that I have used Top Dog – I won’t go back to a kennel as I really liked the concept of my dog being in a home rather than a kennel. She almost didn’t want to come home, she had so much fun!
